HELP Flight - Non-injury incident

Weather: Clear. Not a factor

Team: Pilot, Flight Nurse and Flight Paramedic. No injuries reported. No patient. 

Description: 
	While in cruise flight @ approximately 1,500 feet AGL and under NVGs,
	#2 engine fire light initially flickered, then illuminated.
	 Single engine flight was established and engine fire emergency
	procedures were followed per the flight manual.
	A single engine landing was performed to an open field.
	Emergency shutdown performed and crew exited the aircraft; no fire
	observed.
	PAIP was initiated.
	Mechanic dispatched to the scene.
	After thorough inspection, no obvious cause for the fire light was
	found.
	The aircraft was returned to service.
