Air Methods Kentucky - Non-injury incident

Team: Pilot, flight nurse, and flight paramedic. No injuries reported. Patient on board. 

Description: 
	While en route to a receiving hospital in Huntington, West Virginia,
	at 2500 feet MSL, the aircraft sustained a laser strike from the
	ground within the cabin area.  At the time of the laser strike the
	aircraft was under ATC flight following from the regional airport. 
	The illumination did not affect the PIC or medical crew and was
	quickly out of the visual fields of the crew.  Patient was on-board
	with no effect to the patient noted.  The ATC was alerted to the event
	and the coordinates of the event were relayed to ATC for authority
	notification.  The mission continued un-affected and the patient was
	delivered without event.  Crew debrief afterwards revealed no affect
	to crew during mission.
