On the evening of November 24th, 2012, the crew of Air Link, based in
Scottbluff, NE, was requested for an inter-facility transfer.
Approximately 2 minutes after lifting off to proceed to the
transferring hospital, the crew heard a strange noise on the left side
of the aircraft, which was reported to the pilot. The pilot noted no
abnormal flight characteristics and operations remained normal. The
pilot proceeded to the airport, which was approximately 2 miles to the
south of their location. A precautionary landing was executed at the
airport. The flight crew performed a thorough inspection of the
aircraft and a small amount of blood was noted to the root of one
rotor blade. No physical damage was found. The pilot contacted the
base manager and mechanic on duty to advise them of the apparent bird
strike. The crew, base manager and mechanic were all in agreement to
	continue the mission.

Additional Info:
A PAIP for a precautionary landing was activated.
