While preparing for landing on a return trip, with a patient aboard,
the pilot lowered the landing gear. After the landing gear had been
lowered, the pilot noticed that one of the three landing gear lights
was not illuminated. After completing the required checklist to no
avail, the pilot decided to divert to a larger airport where services
were greater to complete the landing. The landing was made without
incident. It was later determined that the bulb in the light had
	failed.
